We're finally at a point in development, where we can talk about this.
Introducing: RedSpec TGX MK3 for Genesis 3 Females!
Tons of R&D went into development of this skin shader for OctaneRender, which will bring out the best in all your characters textures.
By introducing normal maps to Octane, we're able to portray skin details like blemishes, moles, flabbiness and micro- and mesostructure of the skin much better than we were able before.
As an addition, you'll now be able to customize skin glossiness much better, over a simple "Amount" slider, as some of you have come to know it from RedSpec TGX Hair (where you can control hair highlights in a similar way).
Plus, we're bringing 4-click presets with this shader to the table, for the first time. These will make applying the shaders super easy, as you can now simply do this from within DAZ Studio - natively! (No dragging and dropping of material zones anymore.)
In this image, already, you can see how much detail TGX MK3 can bring to the table.
And the best part of it: It will be free for all current MK2 shader users!
Consider this a present for the long waiting time - but also believe us, when we say: It was totally worth it
We're still finishing details up at this point, as the OCDS plug-in still needs to have some edges ironed out when using normal and bump maps at the same time.
We're working closely with Paul, though, to get this done in the coming days. Once this is finished we'll compile everything and will update existing MK2 customers with fresh download links and the new ones for the MK3 shaders.
The release will be staggered, meaning, that the G3 figure generations gets its MK3-treatment first, with G2 and V4/M4 following. We're trying our best to make all of this happen BEFORE christmas 2016 - pretty ambitious at this point, but we're certain, that we can pull it off.
PS: TGX Wet for G3F is still in development and should ALSO see a release before Christmas 2016.
Thank you all for your continued patience and support. We really appreciate it.
