The Overseer by TRRazor The Overseer by TRRazor
The Overseers were elite commandos dispatched from Ras-Veqop - the central government of Lavta.
They would periodically check on the specimen status housed inside the walls of Xelath Dum.
They were usually outfitted with CQB versions of the Scimitar assault rifle, the standard weapon of the Lavtan army and a fighting bo callled the Qri.
Only the Overseers were allowed to wear the metal second-skin armor called As-Ranach, indicating their high status within the army.

The facial piercings come with the inauguration as either a federal officer, or as a guardian of Xelath Dum and are mandatory.
Usually they work as a sign of recognition and rank, with each and individual piercing having their own meaning.
Large capes with digital camo, BDUs and melee weapons influenced by Norse mythology complete the outfits.

While being there, the Overseers would usually also inspect the bio-diesel generators in the basements of the huge underground shelter, which is where this image came to be.

Actress: Oops carrying this spear prop around and moving about this walkway is a bit tricky.  Keep banging into the handrails!  It is so uncool!
Actor:  Hell, you've got it easy, I have to constantly stare down there at this prop guy's butt crack all the time.  Why does he have to be even there?!  Doesn't he know it is messing up my character play here?

LOL! All good but you may want to consider the position of the spear next time you render, although a minor detail.
Love your work.

Well, although it doesn't look like it from this perspective, the walkway is actually broad enough for her to move through it freely.
Even with the fighting staff.

It's one of those comments though, that makes you think about your work in a different way, once you shown it to somebody else, after you worked on it for quite some time.
Just gives you that objective perspective that is very often necessary to develop your own set of skills and makes you think about stuff, you just did - maybe in a hurry, not really sure - that you could have avoided easily.

So thanks for it, gave me a chuckle there for a sec, because I was totally envisioning the scene there ;)

Thanks, really appreciate the comment.
I guess when creating your own universe, it is really important to pay attention to detail, only that way the viewer gets intrigued :)
